Work · Large-scale strategy & delivery
A $1B+ book of business, built and led
$1B+ portfolio ยท four world regions
The context
Long before the AI work, the discipline was proven in the hardest environments for delivery on earth: complex, high-stakes government and institutional programs across four world regions, where budgets are large, scrutiny is constant, and failure is measured in more than money. This is the record that underwrites everything that came after.
The scale
Built and led a portfolio of programs past $1B across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, not a single contract, but a book of business originated, won, and delivered over years. The work spanned three disciplines that rarely sit in one person: strategy (setting the direction), delivery (making it real on the ground), and market origination (opening the relationships and winning the mandate in the first place).
The constraints
These are environments where being wrong is not an option, politically exposed, operationally difficult, and watched at the most senior levels of government and international institutions. Trust is the currency, and it is extended slowly and withdrawn instantly. Leading here meant earning and keeping the confidence of the people with the most to lose.
What carried it
The through-line was the ability to be trusted to lead where the stakes were highest, and to hold that trust across very different rooms and cultures, the same instinct that now makes institution-scale AI approvable in a ministry, a bank, or a board. The endorsements on the about page, from senior government and institutional leaders, speak to that record directly.
It is the foundation the AI practice is built on: not a technologist who learned to work with institutions, but an operator who led billion-dollar programs and now builds and governs AI to the same standard.
What can and cannot be shared
The $1B+ figure is the cumulative value of programs originated, won, and delivered across the portfolio over more than a decade, not a single contract, and not a point-in-time balance. The counterparties were government and international institutions across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Latin America; most cannot be named, because the work was conducted under confidentiality and, in several cases, in politically sensitive environments. What is verifiable is the record itself: the roles held, the programs run, and the endorsements from senior government and institutional leaders. Named references are available to serious counterparties on request. Where a client or figure cannot be disclosed, it is withheld deliberately, not for lack of substance.
